Simpler and faster tool replacement
In order to reduce the equipment cost to a greater extent and obtain more effective replacement time, Koniger started the research and development of this project.
The high-precision quick-change chuck clamp is based on the zero-positioning flat plate system, which is combined with the corresponding Konig clamp (hydraulic or mechanical mandrel clamp or chuck clamp) to form this quick-change system. The zero-positioning clamping system can replace tools very quickly and easily, and obtain better clamping accuracy at the same time. Higher circular run-out and end face accuracy
This newly developed fixture connection mode is extremely stable, and its rigidity is also very good. At the same time, the plate system can obtain excellent repeated positioning accuracy in terms of circular runout accuracy and end face accuracy. Therefore, it can be applied to different machining processes, such as turning, gear hobbing and high-precision gear grinding.
The zero-positioning quick-change system will be realized by working with high-pressure gas (automatically through the machine tool or manually through the air gun). Koniger clamp operation is also realized through the hydraulic system of the machine tool (through the piston rod or the machine tool oil pressure) as we are familiar with.
